Unpretty A story about Her
They didn’t see her warm heart , her constant kindness, her undying selflessness, her unconditional love , her humility , … or her bright positivity.
They saw her thick thighs , her fat butt , her bulging tummy , her double chin , her dusky skin , the glasses on her face & her teenage acne .
The name calling went on , the juvenile mocking didn’t end . “ Fat Cow” “ Ugly B*tch” “loser”. . Just to name a few . She was drowning in a dark place .
Till one day , she said “Fuck You All ” . “Fck You” to everyone who put her down . “Fck You” to everyone who shamed her , who mocked her . “Fck You” to those who bullied her , who underestimated her , who tormented her .
Name tags didn’t phase her ,she smirked at the profanity spouted at her .
She buried 17 years of trauma with just these two words “F*Ck YOU”.
She’s still not perfect .& will never be . But , nothing can make her feel Unpretty now .
