Once the claim token has been purchased, we will begin the vinyl production. This meticulous, hand-crafted process takes approximately 3 months to prepare. When it is complete, the holder of the claim token will be sent the physical Vinyl and will be airdropped a second NFT linked to the physical vinyl by a computer tag (NFC) embedded within the vinyl. The NFT will provide proof of authenticity and proof of ownership.
The vinyl is pressed by Citizen Vinyl in Asheville, NC and the computer tag NFT is developed by vinylkey.com.
L’amour rebelle is the first-ever opera NFT to be performed live, premiered at NFT LA on March 29th 2022. The work re-imagines Bizet’s Carmen in an arrangement by Zachary Whitney, conducted by him and performed by Merav Eldan and an orchestra. The music was developed along with a charcoal animation by Leo Crane, featuring Roy Joseph Butler.
L’amour rebelle is a Figuration/Electrifying Opera co-production.
