Over the Moon When Blue Turns to Gold

I create everyday toward a Once in a Blue Moon moment, pondering my own relationship to the art and the world around me.

I named my studio Over The Moon more than 30 years ago. It sits on a hillside at the back of the property with a view of woodlands and mountain tops in coastal Maine. When the moon sets on a clear night it looks as though you can step out and jump right over it.

I love the term Over The Moon as it congers up so many real and imagined images in my head. When blue turns to gold and back again.
