Formes Libres: Self portrait, at night

Late at night, when the world falls silent, something opens.
This is where I paint. Not to be seen, but to listen.
Ideas don’t arrive fully formed here. They circle, dissolve, return.
And in their quiet orbit, I find shape.

The light in this piece isn’t just illumination. It’s what keeps me coming back.
A faint glow that says you’re still here, and you still have something to say.

This is a self-portrait, not of my face,
but of the time, the silence,
and the belief that it has to be shared, or it will disappear.
