This iconic triumphal arc is located in Paris and is one of it's most famous monuments. It was designed in 1806 and inaugurated in 1836. The arc honors all those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. For over 100 years, it was the tallest triumphal arc until Mexico City topped it in 1938.
