networked.art: Visionary

The circular pull of the composition suggests both a lens and a vortex, an optic drawn inward even as the surrounding noise pushes centrifugally outward.

The eye is positioned as a point of origin, generating the very distortion that obscures it. The warm accents, never resolving into clear form, read as fragments of sight or memory the eye produces but cannot quite hold onto. The closer one looks for clarity at the center, the more the image dissolves into its own static.

Visionary poses sight as a compromised faculty: to see is already to distort.
