REASONS: The Last Frontier: The Tent

Arguably the most magnificent place that one could pitch a tent.

This overnight adventure into the heart of Kenai Fjords National Park, AK was truly once in a lifetime. From the blooming wildflowers saturating the barren slopes overlooking the icefield, to the layer of thin fog sweeping in from the horizon, this moment will live with me happily forever.

I was in awe at the ocean of ancient ice and snow that lay before my eyes. Seemingly endless in every direction with only the summits of buried mountains, breaking through the frozen veil, allowed my mind to comprehend that this wasn't an infinitely expansive icy entity.
