Site Specific: Genius Loci

Since the 16th century, landscape painting has been predominantly perceived as consisting of painting on a canvas, a wall, or a board rather than anything else. I am trying to expand this tradition with a technique of painting directly on the landscape. That is, a technique of creating a temporary painting in the landscape itself where the landscape becomes a thematic part of the scene and at the same time its gallery space. Genius loci of the current presence and possible future.
