Here Today, Gone Tomorrow: Light Keeper

A solitary figure enjoys the sunrise from the viewing platform at Cape Byron lighthouse.

When I was working as a tour guide, taking international travellers to this spot for sunrise was always a highlight for me. A lot of these young backpackers had never seen the sunrise over the ocean before, and being able to share this moment with them for the first time was truly a magical experience.
