COSMOLOGY: Cryptocell

The Cryptocell was an artwork that resembled an enormous macromolecule. Each node was a citizen's personal blockchain wallet, groups of which coalesced into tangled nanonetworks to form rooms of the structure. The wallet-nodes bonded via digital transactions which drew individuals together based on shared interests and values. Exchange of personal data through smart contracts and micro-payments resulted in synergistic relationships that strengthened the overall Cryptocell.

Though in constant flux, the Cryptocell had a stable, repeating form at its heart - a core of commonly held moral precepts and community codes. Sharing time, computational resources and financial capital between wallet-nodes caused the Cryptocell to grow, its branches reaching up and out into the digital space of the net.
