Nostalgia on the Horizon:
The representation / interpretation
The poetry

The representation / interpretation:
The two pirate chairs, with their plush cushions and rich wood, invite you to sit and contemplate the passing of time.

Through the window, you can see a pirate ship sailing on the horizon, its sails billowing in the wind. It's a poignant reminder of the great adventures of the past, now fading into memory.

The painting on the wall of the same ship, captured in its prime, serves as a visual testament to the once-vibrant life of adventure and freedom.

As you take in the scene, you can almost hear the creak of the ship, feel the salty breeze on your face, and long for the days when anything seemed possible.

The poetry:
Two chairs, they sit and wait,
Facing the window, the view so great,
A pirate ship on the horizon,
Bringing back memories, oh so risen.

The painting on the wall, a reminder so bold,
Of adventures and stories, yet untold,
The wind whispers tales of the past,
As the chairs hold tight, memories that last.

The sea, the ship, the room so still,
Nostalgia takes over, it's hard to chill,
The horizon brings back a life once lived,
A moment in time, now captured and sieved.

The chairs, the window, the painting, the ship,
All come together, like a perfect trip,
A journey to the past, a glimpse to the now,
Nostalgia on the horizon, it's hard to bow.
