Murals: Reborn #37

This collection is based on Efdot's physical, hand-painted murals. Once ephemeral works of art on walls and city streets, they are now immortalized as digital works on the blockchain.

Rooted in the Mayan belief in cycles, "Reborn" reflects the endless rhythm of renewal in nature. It honors the culture’s deep connection to the land, its enduring traditions, and the interconnectedness of all living beings.

Created by Efdot in support of Maya Spirits for Zamna Music Festival 2025. Animation & painting assistance by James Bristow.

50% of all primary sales will be donated to Maya Spirits to help their mission of empowering local communities and protecting the rainforest through conservation and cultural preservation.

Born in the jungle near Tulum, Mexico, this mural shifts with the light, dynamically evolving based on the local time of the viewer. Click the artwork to reveal the process, and tap "M" to mute/unmute audio.
