Dream with me: The special one

This is a very special Teddycow. It’s the first calf of 2022 and the fact that it’s a little blondy makes it extra special. You can find around 100-125 Teddycows in the area where I live and only a handful of these have this beautiful light colour. To witness a little blond stunner like this one, only a few days old is such a privilege. I took this photo just a few minutes after it woke up in the forest where it spent the night with the family. During the first days after the birth they are very close with their mother. I was lucky that I found it between the trees, this gave me the opportunity to isolate it in the shot, this is very hard to achieve in the open field during the first days of their life. I’m glad to have met this little one and I will probably see it a lot in the coming months!
