The Weight of the World
“The Weight of the World” is a poignant artwork that depicts a woman bearing the heavy weight of life's challenges and responsibilities. The burdens she carries are a reminder of the struggles we all face, and the overwhelming feeling that can come with them.
During the project, the artwork was transformed by the community who purchased it. The number of purchases lightened the load that the woman was carrying, symbolizing the power of sharing our struggles with others and seeking support. As the project has now ended, the piece has been frozen in its final stage.
