.Clay: Matters of the Heart

Part of the "Squish" Series.
Under pressure, we may fall back to harmful thoughts and patterns, represented by the skull. But this doesn’t happen bc we want the worst for ourselves. Under pressure we seek to comfort the heart. Sometimes bad habits are the only way we know how to find comfort.
We care for ourselves the only way we know how, and these bad habits may have been protective before, but now they are self sabotaging. Don’t hate yourself due to your own feelings - they only existed to protect you and your heart, and you now have new ways to support yourself.
