Persian Tranished: The Last Oathbearer

Woe to a land once radiant with glory and grace, Now cast down from the throne to the earthly dust. Our destiny was motherhood, pure and bright, Yet our innocent hearts are now tainted with blight. We grieved, we wept, tears flowed like rain, But alas, no one was there to soothe our pain. O Kimiā , Essence of all that’s divine, Who has so offended you, that you decree such a cruel fate for us?
