Colors of Japan: White Castle

This is a photo of Gujo Hachiman Castle, located in the mountains of Gifu Prefecture. Surrounded by mountains, the area where the castle is located is a heavy snowfall area, and in winter, the whole area becomes a silvery white world. I was impressed by the beauty of the white castle seen through the trees which looked as if white flowers had bloomed.
