The story of the eye series: As Above, so below (From "The story of the eye series")

First GIF of my second NFT's Series: The story of the eye.

An exploration through looped Gifs of the symbolics of the eye, the vision and the visuality. From the ancient beliefs to contemporary theory.

“True, true. Without doubt. Certain: The below is as the above, and above as the below, to perfect the wonders of the One.”

Hermes Trismegistus

Through the eye we build our world, our reality. We, as a society, take part of the Visual culture. We’re living in a world dominated by the visual sense over others, forgetting that what we see is not always what is the true. This works are thinkings in the form of moving images about this topics. Using the medium as the message.
