Fractal Souls: Monochrome Void

I wanted to move away from the allure of color to explore the raw power of light and shadow. I was interested in the idea of "containment"—creating a transparent sanctuary for a complex, restless geometry.

The outer glass-like cube represents a boundary, while the dark, intricate core is a study in monochromatic chaos. It’s a piece about the layers we keep hidden; a silent, obsidian-dark energy pulsating within a clear, rigid frame.

The Craft: Technically, this was an exercise in ray-tracing and transparency. I spent a lot of time calculating the internal reflections of the "cage" to ensure that the inner core is distorted just enough by the outer glass. There are no textures here to hide behind—just pure light, shadow, and the interplay of refractive surfaces.
