Wilderness: Bodies of water

This piece began as a close up shot of a knot in a tree trunk. I then replaced all the colors and values with ones different to the original colors just to the point where the image was no loger recognizable as a tree. I made the image in blue green tones to give it appearance of a body of water. Any life form is essentially a body of water. The formations of growth or movement in a tree as in any other life form occurs by the way water is carried up through them. This is where Cedric entered in the picture. Bodies of water are never still, they dance, leap and, lap, transforming in shape continuously. Water in motion is magic. Just look at what Cedric did with sound on. You’ll hear and see.
