Mighty Moose: Flowers in the sun

a continuation of my photography series, this photo taken on a walk with my family. As we enjoyed the sun shining and bringing color to the sun flowers around us I began to consider the relationship between the sun and the flower, how the flower stretches and grows as it seeks to reach out to the sun and yet, over time that sun will eventually bring about this flowers demise.

There is a season for everything, to every season a turn, a change. The flower is only to be enjoyed for a short time then it passes. This is life, here for a moment, meant to be enjoyed with passion, but that season will be over before we know it. The glow of the sun, of life will also bring our own mortality.
