Dubai Dreaming: Airport Road

Part of a series of black and white photos I took of my life in Dubai, using my iPhone.

I am an artist first and foremost, but I am an air traffic controller by trade. I took this photo in 2010, on my way to work in the tower at Al Maktoum International Airport. These saplings are now fully grown trees with trunks as thick as a man's waist. It's been an honour and a delight to watch them grow.
