ORIGINALS: reaching toward the star

Our connection only runs skin deep, we are so different from one another. Though for your pleasure I'll look to stick around, to continue this life of ours. Father, I'll stretch my hands to reach towards the star, asking Equuleus to grant my wish. Help us find a connection, for I don't know how long we will last.
