Freezing time itself with every slow drag off the spliff I hold closely. Thoughts race across my mind at a mile a minute, whilst everything around me remains still and there's a cold silence so deep you hear your veins pumping. Feels as if I'm watching the world stop for once when I'm used to being the one at a dead end, just watching life through a soundproof cell with bulletproof windows. The complete opposite of what you're used to can be bitter sweet, you reflect on the good to forget the present and put on your fake smile till you cant.
