MEDIA NOCTE: Ego Tamen Credo

This piece continues to evolve Jennifer Panepinto’s exploration of a signature glitch aesthetic—an emotional language that reflects how she experiences the world. Created using Midjourney AI and Adobe Photoshop, the work is inspired by flowers at night, reimagined through layered digital distortions. For Panepinto, glitch represents the fragmented, vibrating nature of existence—life as a series of anxious, shifting frames. The visual foundation is rooted in her childhood memories of three seventeenth-century Dutch flower paintings that hung in her grandparents’ home. She was captivated by their delicate balance of light and shadow and the quiet melancholy they evoked. Through glitch, she seeks to modernize that classical stillness, infusing it with motion and digital tension. This work is part of Vibism, a web3 art movement dedicated to exploring the unseen—energy, intuition, and the internal landscape. Jennifer Panepinto, also known as QuantumSpirit, is a visual artist who fuses analog and digital processes, working across mediums from Polaroid photography to AI-generated art. Her practice draws from her lived experiences with mental health, and often explores metaphysical themes, using visual elements like rainbows to represent both clarity and distortion. The dreamlike quality of her work reflects a deeper inquiry into perception, memory, and consciousness.
