A reflection on the moment when human identity ceases to be a stable truth and instead becomes a field for the intrusion of unknown forces, the rewriting of memory, and the collapse of the boundaries of the self. In this narrative, the “descent into the underworld” no longer signifies a passage into the realm of the death, but rather the intrusion of the alien into human memory. The red orbit suspended within the image is neither a planet nor a sun, but a metaphysical rupture in the fabric of reality, a point at which time loses its coherence and the boundary between past, future, and parallel worlds begins to collapse. The beings within the work exist in a state of suspension — neither fully alive nor dead, neither human nor nonhuman. They appear as wandering consciousnesses that after passing through a cosmic rupture, have sedimented within the bodies and history of humanity. The distortion of the faces and hands is not merely a transformation of form, but a sign of the body’s inability to contain a presence that does not belong to this world.
