Ephemeral Walk

Ephemeral walk Threads of destiny

"The Moires, without mercy, rule the destiny of men. They weave the thread of life with inexorable hands, and no human being can escape their judgment. The gods themselves are subject to the immutable laws of the Moire." -Aeschylus

The rope on which the man walks is lost in an intricate labyrinth of endless other ropes, each representing the thread of life woven by the Moires. His walk is a precarious balance between risk and determination as he traverses an abstract landscape of intertwined destinies. The surrounding emptiness suggests the uncertainty of the future and man's vulnerability in the face of the Moire's inexorable power.
