Of Art & Artists
“From dissolution to resolution, the artist’s journey. This piece represents the multidimensional path of expression and discovery, of pulling apart and putting together, that informs creation. The act of creating an artwork, and beyond that, the act of becoming an artist. This genesis piece is about my own genesis, as an artist and a human. The viewer is my witness.”
Each bid will receive 1 bidder’s edition airdropped via Manifold.
Andre Oshea’s genesis piece on SuperRare is a 15-second animation that explores the act of creation and of becoming. Beginning with a particle dissolution, the piece illustrates the mythical path leading to artistic resolution, concluding with Oshea’s recurring motif of the all-seeing eye. This is about the act of art creation, a mythical process that connects the artist to the viewer, and each more closely to themselves. The odyssey of creation is at once divine and mundane, transcendental and intimate, universal and individual.
