“Spiraling down toward the edges of my dream I see myself floating in and out of consciousness Swimming among these scattered emotions I see myself being cradled in the arms of time”
It is midnight and I’m left to my own devices. In my ears, I can hear the gears in my head ceaselessly turn. It hurts to listen and is impossible to ignore.
It is midnight and my pupils dilate. From the depth of my eyes, I see sights of better days when sleep was still a refuge of mine. Left to my devices, I see that this solitude is such a lovely color on me.
