"LibΞrtas" is a piece I used to examine the concept of freedom, personified as a bird that is ready to take flight at any moment. We could be soaring in higher, ethereal planes of existence if only we realized that our connection to the physical world is only as strong as we want it to be. That's one of the reasons my characters have elongated, tapering legs - we're slowly learning to disconnect, one new emotional experience at a time.
