Mr.A 💕NFT

André is opening up a new chapter with Superrare, and welcomes his first ever made and original NFT, Mr.A 💕NFT. From his studio in Paris, he started working on an animation to create the Mr.A 💕 NFT. The style is based on analogue old school animation. André’s work is graffiti, hitting walls, tagging the subways and buses, spraying on street signs - the city is his canvas. He always has a spray can or a marker with him. This time the computer was his equipment. Was it weird to exchange the wall with a screen? He says “No.” André is a big fan of digital art, and he sees himself doing this more often. Each drawing for the animation was hand drawn in Andre’s signature technique of handwritten and illustrative style in his Studio in Paris, inspired by the original Disney animations, that he studied since childhood.

This work captures Andre’s positive attitude and always looking forward, especially in times like these we need a fun face more than ever. Mr. A makes people smile, even if it is just for 13 seconds. The piece aims to show a bit of Mr. A’s magic, his superpower; to spread positivity. Have a smile, a wink, a little laugh with him.
