Portraits of Sound // #04 - Into The Mirror
This portrait examines what happens when we look at ourselves, honestly and with compassion /////////////// What we see is never fixed but rather always mutable in the fleeting present moment //////////////
///////////////////////////// This piece is an invitation to find love and a state of peace with the person you see looking back at you in the mirror in a quiet acknowledgement of the ever-changing you ////////////////////////////////
//////////////////////////////////////////////// It’s a reminder to shield your self-acceptance from external worldly concerns and instead root it securely within yourself /////////////////////////////////////////////
The portrait weaves themes of rebirth, discovery within and the need for gentleness to hold those we have the power to care for and protect ///////////////////////////
As with all pieces in the series, it contains a dialogue between ourselves and nature as we consider our relationship to our environment and encourages us to dive into the life-affirming wisdom that forms from reflections on mortality /////////////////////////////////// ////////////////////////////////////
This portrait is a testament to my hope that we all find enjoyment in the tiniest of details in each distortion that is life as we all continue rippling through time /////////////////////////////////////////////
