first_gate_of_chicago_oya

In the 1970’s, there were opened seven gates to the underworld in subterranean Chicago. Santeria street gangs and graffiti artists appeased the Orisha and used these gates to traffic goods and broker power. The crackling energy and unstable portals brought riches, but also a curse. Many unexplained disappearances can be traced to the seven gates, and their location has been lost to living memory. These are the intangible expressions of those gates and their keepers.
