JAR of Hope is a foundation that is looking for a treatment or a cure for children who are suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy a rare and severe muscle decaying disorder.
JAR stands for James Anthony Raffone, son of Jim Raffone. James is suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and his father Jim created the organization dedicating his life to finding a treatment or a cure.
We trekked to Everest Basecamp over 11 days to create awareness and funds for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The NFT image was created at 18 000 feet. In the frame we are looking at Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori to name a few.
Since there is a clinical trial for a treatment that needs help with funding, I wanted to create a work that signals hope. This image was taken at dawn just as the sun was coming up behind the mountains.
