PROOFofARTWORK: Behind the Digital Tree

Edition 2 of 3. Any idea on what's behind the digital tree? Anyway, digitization does not stop at nature. This artwork is a reminder for you and me to go outside and enjoy nature, at least from time to time. And please leave your smartphone at home. #DigitalDetox

This piece has some kind of a "turbulent history". Originally this tree has been painted with watercolor. It has been framed and put on the wall of the home of the artist's mother as a birthday present. Several month later, while leaving after visiting her, the artists took a picture of the framed image and finally modified it digitally.
