Transitioning from a greyscale outer to a chromatic centre, the direction of energy flow that the viewer perceives mirrors their current self. Concentric layers act to either draw the viewer into the piece or push them away. The artwork's aura repels viewers whose current state is inward or self-directed, while it draws in those with an open and outward present mindset. Observing the artwork at different times or through different lenses can elicit varying responses; this variegation is marked both in the work's physical colouration and its perception.
