BigInJapan: 最高 (Supreme)

Surprise! Rematch? Or Sudden Death!? This one initially didn't make the cut because I felt as though it wasn't strong compared to the rest. I made this from a hotel note pad sketch and apps on my phone. A process similar to that of my early days making art and sharing on the internet. But looking at it now, I feel like it was almost just as important as the more elaborate pieces, because of its spontaneity and immediacy. It was also shown in the SOLO SHOW. Mixed reviews on this one. Pikachu is an iconic Japanese character, I was inspired to make this after visiting the Supreme Shibuya store and seeing Pokemon posters in the streets afterwards.
