Sound Made Visible - 21-24Hz sweep

An offering to experience sound over matter. Energy, form and movement. A return to the flow of being. The science of "Cymatics" is making sound visible through physics. A circular dish of water is vibrated by sound frequencies. Colored light reflections reveal the dance of surface waves. Because this frequency range of 21-24Hz is almost infrasonic, music was added by "The Mind Orchestra". This work reveals a fundamental story, a representation of the transformative flow from chaos to order.

New Zealand-based visual sound artist and photographer Jacob Adlington, from Brisbane, Australia, has been exploring science art under the name "Journey of Curiosity" since 2017. He strongly believes in the power of sound to shape our physical and mental reality and beyond. This inspires his passion for putting sound vibrations into visual form. With each of his cymatic photographs, he explores light and color in collaboration with the physics of sound resonance.
