commON fourth issue tackles the theme of eternity at different conceptual levels, referencing ancestral meanings and myths. The custom of ripping heads off statues, carved by mortal hands, was believed to confer power and vitality to the artefact.
The roman goddess of wisdom stolen head references a violent act affecting the place where soul and immortality reside. This NFT shows Minerva’s semi-rotating statue appearing interspersed with fragments of video distortion.
The soundtrack “Celestial" enhances the concept of sacredness, strength and vitality of the statue itself. A classic section of plucked strings and violins is blended with hybrid electronic sounds, adding a sonic identity to the deity eternal harmony.
