Take care of everything.

«Mελέτη τὸ πᾶν» (Periander of Corinth, VI Century BC)

"...At the center of the Milky Way, the spiral galaxy in which we find ourselves, is Sagittarius A, a super massive black hole with 4 million solar masses, surrounded by an extremely chaotic region, in which stars are born and explode and turbulent phenomena occur".

This artwork ehnances the deep-space's dark atmosphere acting on colors and depth-of-field of the original image, generated by 64 radio-antennas (using the MeerKAT radio telescope). It took three years to process, producing more than 70 Terabytes of data.

This is a tribute to the most detailed image ever obtained of our galaxy, revealing about 1,000 mysterious filaments of energy all around the black hole (some of them, 150 light-years long).

"Take care of everything" celebrates the dark mistery of the cosmos and - at the same time - the culmination of humanity's scientific progress in our era.

Part of the "Cosmos" series, only three editions will ever be minted. This is one of them.
