Furious Five: The Furious Five at Sugar Hill studios, 1981.

In the winter of 1981 Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five recorded their most iconic album, The Message at Sugar Hill studios in New Jersey. I photographed them while recording and between takes during these historic sessions. These images have never been published or shown. Collectors of the nfts from this series will receive a signed and dedicated archival print upon request.
