What would you see if you dipped your head below the surface of The Ocean? You will find a world that humans know very little about. Tonight when you look up at the stars, examine how vast the universe is from our perspective. Then in that same moment ponder the thought that humans know more about space than we do our own Oceans. Ashley Baxter and I have travelled the world together in hopes of sharing the life in this realm that needs our protection. Everything that happens in this medium has a direct impact on life as we know it. Every second breath we take comes from The Ocean.
This video was shot 5 years ago and it was never shown or shared with anyone. I've decided to release it now after becoming very frustrated with actions from groups like those in the Faroe Islands where this year they massacred almost 2,000 Cetaceans. These creatures are just as sentient as we are if not more.
Jacques Cousteau once famously said "People will protect what they love but they can only love what they understand..." History has shown us that humans have often united over a common enemy. The looming destruction of The Ocean means our collective demise. It doesn't have to be that way.
