"Ad Populum" (also known as "Appeal to the People" or "Bandwagon Fallacy") is a type of logical fallacy in which a claim or an argument is presented as true or valid because it is popular or believed by the majority of people. This type of fallacy is often used to manipulate or sway the opinions of others, by suggesting that because many people believe something, it must be true.
Beware of the dangers of blindly following popular opinions or trends, and the potential for manipulation through this type of fallacious reasoning.
