Potions
Away beyond the pumpkin patches Three witches stirring bubbling batches Dank potions in their cauldrons brewing Evil mischief soon shall be ensuing
Three sisters: maiden, mother and crone Enchantresses one ought leave alone Servant daughters of fell Hecate Stay away all from these witches three
Youngest is Aurabella the Fair Streaks of dawn stitched in her auburn hair Potions of love from root reduction She makes for those who crave seduction
Next is Gildalene Queen of Matrons Wealth seekers are her grasping patrons For gold and silver are their vices But she requires dear sacrifices
Eldest is the nameless toothless crone With eyes of fire and cold heart of stone Ambitious souls who lust for power Sip her brews though they taste quite sour
Promises are witches’ stock and trade All you desire with magic made Have a care the bargains you enter For consequences on you center
That love you bought will grow distasteful That wealth will bind you to souls hateful And power like iron yields to rust As all around you, you'll soon distrust
Be wise! Beware! You can't outwit fate As many have learned a bit too late For destiny knows what you shall learn From these witches' spells there's no return
