Ketchikan Alaska or as the Tlingit People say Kichx̱áan is the southern most tip of the inside passage and is the first large city in Alaska, the technically not the furthest south, that goes to Metlakatla the only remaining reserve in Alaska.
Ketchikan Runs Along The Coast of the PNW and is considered a remote island with year round residents of about 13,000 on the island total.
During the winter time Southeast Alaska has some of the best sunsets around, with its relativly low sun to the horizon it tends to light th sky up with many different colors.
