The other world: The Crown

The crown, like almost every other building on the skyline, is a bank. However, it is the only one with such a cantilevered construction. The individual beams are something 11 meters long and the construction is heated in winter to prevent the formation of icicles. The crown is intended to indicate that Frankfurt is the coronation city of the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire.
