Neo Ceramic-ism: Neo Goryeo Ceramic by June Redthread

Neo Goryeo Ceramic is inspired by Goryeo Celadon, symbolizing the beauty and history of the Goryeo Dynasty in Korean culture. The shape reflects the elegance and esteemed nature of the era. Using 3D digital modeling, rendering, and blockchain technology, I bridge the gap between the past and the future. The invisible redthread is visualized through transparent plexiglass, with laser-cut dots that connect the historical essence with future technology, shaping a new vision for ceramics. This piece merges mechanical aesthetics with the beauty of an ancient tradition, creating a phygital experience for the modern collector.

Delivered both as a physical and digital piece, it embodies the convergence of the tangible and virtual worlds.
