This art depicts this statement. Light enters the whole body through the eye. The eye is the door to light. The center of the composition is right in the human head, as a symbol of the illumination of the human brain. In this picture, the eyes follow the only source of light - this is a person. A person radiates light, but it is easy to see that the stage is filled not with his light, but with light descending from above. This is some idea of self-deception: when people try to fill the darkness within themselves with something that cannot fill it.
