the orange series: break through

break through - #03 of „the orange series“

When I look back at that day I recall that it was still dark outside when we started hiking up that mountain. But I remember even better the moment we arrived up there. At first there was nothing we could see but clouds. And then suddenly the sun began to break through in a magical way. Only for a few seconds, then it was gone again. Watching a sunrise like this always feels like a gift. A gift from nature, a gift we didn't do anything to deserve it but nevertheless we are granted this gift and I'm thankful for it every single time again.
