Ethereal Beings: Born A Dragon

Born a dragon signifies both the heart and spirit of the people in Hong Kong as well as the colors of the city. The dragon represents strength for the people of Hong Kong as it relates back to their political situation surrounding the words ‘beware of the dragons’. Once a dragon is always a dragon. As an outsider stepping into Hong Kong I've observed that the dragon is prominent animal integrated into Hong Kong’s cultural scene which is why I chose to depict a portrait of a woman referencing a dragon.
